Course Overview

This 6 module course is designed to provide anyone whose work could expose

them to asbestos with sufficient knowledge to avoid putting themselves or others at

risk. You will learn:

1) Background - what is asbestos & history

2) Health risks

3) Asbestos containing materials (ACMs) & where to find them

4) Works involving asbestos & the law

5) Risk Management

6) Emergency Procedures
