MEWP – Online
Complete the theory and assement component of our MEWP course online prior to the course date and attend the practical session to put the theory into practice, this will take no more than 2 hours. Once the learner achieves the theory assessment the pracitcal session can then be booked.
MEWP Use of a Harness in a MEWP – Scissor lift & Self-propelled boom lift
This course will teach you the types of MEWPs, their suitability for purpose; and safety features; and – legislative requirements in relation to Code of Practice and the use of MEWPs and how to safely set up and operate the required MEWP.
In the practical session you will:
- assess the worksite, and prepare to use a scissor lift and self-propelled boom lift.
– carry out operations in a workplace environment.
– report faults and damage.
– shut down the scissor lift and self-propelled boom lift.
