COURSE OVERVIEW

If your first aid certificate is due to expire come and refresh your first aid skills with Besafe Training on our first aid refresher course. First Aid Refresher training is required every 2 years.

 

Our first aid refresher course will bring you up to date and ensure you can provide effective first aid when it may be required.

 

Our CPR Mannequins are equipped with the latest technology to provide real-time feedback which has been shown to improve CPR skill acquisition and performance.

 

You will learn to assess and manage a patient for: shock, bleeding, burns, fractures, soft tissue injuries, poisonings, heart attack, asthma, stroke, seizure and diabetes.

 

You will also be able to provide basic life support through CPR and management of a foreign body airway obstruction (choking).

 

 

NZQA unit standards refreshed:

US 6401 Provide first aid 

US 6402 Provide resuscitation  

US 6400 Manage first aid in emergency situations
