This one-day Working at Heights Stage 2 course provides practical, hands-on training for workers who are required to use a fall arrest harness system while working at height. Learners will develop the knowledge and skills needed to inspect, fit, adjust, use, and connect a safety harness system safely.
The course is assessed against NZQA Unit Standard 23229 – Use a safety harness system when working at height.
Course Overview
Learners will cover the key requirements for working safely at height, including hazard awareness, equipment checks, harness fitting, connection to suitable anchor points, and the safe use of personal fall protection systems.
Training is delivered by experienced trainers and includes both theory and practical activities to support learner confidence and site readiness.
