Course Duration: 2 days

The Unit Standards included in WTC1 are:

10508- Identify electricity systems in preparation for work. ( 6 credits )

18038- Demonstrate knowledge of and apply health and safety in the electricity

supply environment. ( 5 credits )

10507- Use personal protection equipment within an electricity supply

environment. ( 4 credits )

12300- Demonstrate knowledge of electricity industry safety statutes and

codes - NZECP 34 & SM-EI ( 6 credits )

The pre-requisite for WTC1 is First Aid NZQA Unit Standards 6401, 6402 or 26551, 26552

COMPULSORY PRE-COURSE READING

To ensure you have the initial knowledge to successfully complete your WTC training, you will be emailed a link on your booking confirmation, to access copies of the workbooks for the unit standards you will be completing. It is vital that you take the time to read through these prior to the course, if you have any questions, take note of these and be sure to discuss them with the tutor during your course.
