WTC3 - Perform work safely and conduct rescues from an electrical structure
Our WTC3 Working at heights training course will teach you how to climb and work safely on electricity network structures. You will be able to correctly use fall arrest equipment to complete your job in a safe manner and understand the hazards associated while working at height in an electricity network environment.
NZQA unit standards include
- US 23229 - Use a safety harness for personal fall prevention when working at height (4 credits)
- US 10509 - Climb and work on electricity network structures (6 credits)
- US 17025 - Carry out a rescue from an electrical structure (2 credits)
Pre-requisite:
- First Aid NZQA Unit standards 6401, 6402 or 26551, 26552
- WTC 1
